NuXform at UHEI Birmingham

NuXform attended the UHEI Conference and Exhibition Series 2025 in Birmingham this November and Kevin Brownell, director of NuXform, was a guest speaker.

University and Healthcare estates are an area of specialism for NuXform. Whilst SMaRT technology has potential to permeate every aspect of facilities management, this year’s key theme ‘Digital Transformation’ focused discussion.

Kevin Brownell CPP shared some pragmatic lessons on how to deliver SMaRT. He also shared his insights on how to prepare for some of the challenges that lie in the transformation of a traditional campus to a digital utopia.

Kevin talked about fundamental elements, such as the need for a pervasive wired and wireless network, embracing all the (relevant) data, and creating a seamless user experience whilst ensuring privacy and robust cybersecurity.
Having the right stakeholders involved, focused on defining tangible real-life benefits is of course equally important.
